Find scholarly content on the web with Google Scholar. It's useful for conducting comprehensive literature reviews beyond Walden Library.

Find an article at Google Scholar

If Walden doesn't have an article you want, check Google Scholar. You may find a free copy online.

    Go to Google Scholar, enter the article title, and click Search:

Note: For best results, put quote marks around the title.

If available, your article should appear as one of the first few results:


If you click an article's title, you may be taken to a publisher's site that will ask you to pay for full text. Instead, look for a PDF or HTML link to the right of the article. This is a free, full-text copy.


If there is no link on the right:

Follow these steps to manually link Google Scholar to the Walden Library collection:

  1. Go to Google Scholar (scholar.google.com).
